Daily Devotional: God's Love

Have you experienced the richness of God's love for you? Today's devotional reflects on His devotion to us.
Romans 5:8

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Have you experienced the love of God? There is nothing quite like it. God loves us no matter what we do. Even when we beat and crucified His Son, God the Father still loved us.

“Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him” (I Cor. 2:9). God loves us so much that He wants to bless us with eternal life in a place free from pain and suffering, a place filled with the glory and light of God Himself. He designed such a place for us while we were yet sinners.

God’s love is unconditional. He will love you for all of eternity. Your sin does not make God love you less. God loves you because you are His creation; He loves you based on who He is, not who you are. He is begging and pleading for you to receive forgiveness so that you can go to the place that Jesus is preparing for you. Yet, if you do not choose to receive forgiveness, God will still love you. He will love you all the way to hell.

Do not waste God’s love. Be enamored with the One who has literally died to bring you peace. Let Him take care of you. Let His love direct your steps, every decision shifted through His will for your life. If He was willing to send His Son to die for you while you were still in sin, don’t you think you can trust Him to take care of you now that you have accepted Him?

God is a wonderful Father. Give Him that role in your life, and you will be amazed at the wondrous things He has in store for you.
