What I teach and why I teach it...

When I was nominated to become the Sunday School teacher in my current home church, I immediately asked the former teacher for advice. I had taught teens in a previous church, but now I was going to be teaching any little ones who graced our doors. The former teacher's advice was simple:  Teach Jesus and Google activities.

That did not work.

How do you tell if you have been called by God to teach?  It's a hard thing to know, but hopefully my story will help you understand your own.

When I first started teaching, I thought I was clueless.  In reality, I was well-equipped and anointed by the Holy Spirit of God.  If you feel that you do not deserve to be a Sunday School Teacher, have no idea how to run a classroom, or just plain need a reminder of what works, here are 7 tips I have found along my journey.
